Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our hand-forged blades.
Are your katanas battle-ready or just for display?
All our katanas are hand-forged using traditional methods and high-carbon steel, making them fully functional and battle-ready. However, we also offer unsharpened versions for practitioners and collectors who prefer them for safe display.
How long does it take to forge and ship a custom sword?
Each blade is meticulously crafted by hand. Forging typically takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity. Once completed, shipping usually takes 7-10 business days via tracked international courier.
Do you ship internationally and are there legal restrictions?
We ship to most countries worldwide. It is the customer's responsibility to check local customs laws regarding the import of bladed weapons. We provide all necessary documentation to ensure a smooth delivery process.
How should I maintain my carbon steel blade?
To prevent rust, we recommend cleaning the blade after every use and applying a thin layer of Choji oil or mineral oil. Avoid touching the steel with bare hands, as skin oils can cause corrosion over time.
What is your return policy if I am not satisfied?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If your katana arrives damaged or does not meet our quality standards, you can return it for a full refund or exchange, provided it remains in its original, unused condition.
Can I customize the Tsuba, Ito, and Saya colors?
Yes, we offer extensive customization options for the guard (Tsuba), handle wrap (Ito), and scabbard (Saya). You can select these options directly on the product page or contact our team for a bespoke design.
